Therapy for children, adolescents and adults as well as family guidance

Connection

“The energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard and valued; when they can give and receive without judgment; and when they derive sustenance and strength from relationship.”

Therapy

Douglasdale Therapy Centre has a team of psychologists who assist children, adolescents, adults and families.

We follow a client centred approach to psychotherapy and, therefore, each therapeutic session is unique. Some of the techniques used include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Play Therapy and Brainspotting.

We interact with people on a daily basis; at school, home, work and in public.

Ultimately we need to ensure that this interaction is effective. Therapy guides this process by addressing communication, problem solving skills and providing a space to explore thoughts and feelings in an authentic way.
